Decoding Design, by Maggie Macnab, Book Review
Jacob Van Ness - 7/21/2008
Understanding and Using Symbols in Visual Communication. Today's fast paced world tends to lose track of its surroundings and move away from understanding nature's relationship. Ironically nature has embedded itself into all we do and it's a big part of logo design, even if we tend to be unaware of that.

Topaz Vivacity - Advanced Photoshop Image Enhancement Suite Review
Jacob Van Ness - 3/16/2008
Like many cell phones my own comes with a camera. I have found myself using the camera more and more to capture those "at the moment" shots. Unfortunately I have come to find, if I zoom in my pictures become much smaller. This was a bit of a disappointment.

Take Your Photography to the Next Level, By: George Barr, Book Review
Adrienne Turcotte - 2/1/2008
Take Your Photography to the Next Level is based on a series of essays that were originally featured on the Luminous website, but it is not simply a reprint of those articles. Barr has rewritten much of the material for the book to expand upon and clarify the original information. He has also provided helpful photographic examples to illustrate complicated concepts in a way that hits home with the reader.
