| Jacquelin Vanderwood April 1, 2001 e-Vue Image Tools for Photoshop gives you the opportunity to save an image in a format that is compatible with the Image Studio. Once you have saved the item, launch e-Vue Image Studio and open the file. You can proceed to compressing the file, applying HTML to it, encoding it, and single or batch encode a series of images. Using the HTML Translator, convert entire JPEG sites to MPEG-4 support. This technology cuts down on the amount of bandwidth required to generate images on a site--it is a great multimedia content deliverer. If you have a site with many photos, using this tool will decrease download time significantly. This program allows you to specify progressive download instant viewing and embedding textual into the image. Photoshop Screens: Below is the Compression tab. Original image is on the left and the MPEG-4 image is on the right. Here is where you set up the quality of the piece. On the second tab is Web Tools. e-Vue Image Studio screens: Image Studio program screen. HTML Template Input Image screen Output Image tab Preferences/Thumbnail tab HTML tab Sizes As you can see below, when the item is converted into an MPEG-4 image using e-Vue, the reduction in size is quite remarkable.
