Adobe Acrobat 6 Professional Allen Harkleroad August 15, 2003   "Adobe Acrobat 6, You just can't beat the features and usability" Being an online publishing company we make extensive use of PDF files (Portable Document Format), from tutorials to invoices for overseas advertisers. The advent of the portable document format has allowed our company to do things we would have not thought possible and saved us countless dollars at the same time. Adobe has recently released version 6 of Adobe Acrobat and with it comes a very useful and time saving application. Adobe Acrobat 6 takes the excellent features of Acrobat 5 and expands on them. Acrobat 6 extends the conversion of documents to many applications right from the toolbar. Applications such as Outlook, Word, Internet Explorer and others now have an easy to access toolbar to turn their documents into portable documents (PDF). Acrobat 6 also has several new features that allow better reviews of documents; they even improved on the comments tool as well. One of the nicest changes to me are the form tools, create rich and useful forms with new forms tools. Acrobat now has 128bit encryption, support for layers in technical drawings such as computer aided drafting files (CAD), better preview for print separations, built-in pre-flighting tools. In a nutshell Adobe Acrobat 6 is a great portable document application and has many features that are must haves in todays electronic document world. Acrobat 6 can even read your PDFs to you!
