Corel has updated Painter to version IX.5 with some new and improved features. I think you'll enjoy this update which is free for current Painter IX owners.
Some of the new features include Underpainting, Auto-Painting, and Restoration.
The new Eraser tool will erase anything.
And then there's the new Rubber Stamp tool that works just like in other popular programs.
Also, the new Cloner Tool allows you to access the last cloner brush used making it easy to resume what you were using it for or to create something new with the same brush.
And then there is the support for Paint Shop Pro, Photo Album, Apple iPhoto, Mac OS X Tiger, and the 6D Art Pen from Wacom.
Included in this update is the support for dual monitors for Windows XP and 2000.
And finally the Art Pen brushes for the new Wacom 6D Art Pen.
