After Effects 7 Power Start

One of the interesting aspects of the DVD is something called Chunkalized where the DVD stops after each procedure in the lesson to give you time to execute what you have learned and to take notes.
For the first course in this DVD you'll learn how to build a title animation, and the second course, being more advanced, you'll learn how to create a complex professional level project.
Lesson One is for beginners and introduces the novice to the interface, menus, compositions, project settings, solids, transform properties, the text tool, an introduction to keyframing, RAM preview, how to create multiple keyframes, animation presets, and rendering.
The Advanced Lesson shows how to import and do setup, about radials, animation shortcuts, continuous rasterization, work area markers, masks, nesting, navigator, moving keyframes, markers, nodes, the basics, easy ease in, track mattes, how to work with Photoshop files, motion blur, fading in the title, the uber (U) key, more nesting, animating text, adding a dark glow and a blur, adding more text, light burst, animating tracking, speeding up RAM previews, duplicating text layers, importing audio, basic 3D intro, creating 3D layers, and the final render.
It's a really good introduction to working deep into After Effects 7.0 and you get to build some really cool stuff while learning. This is an excellent DVD and it visually shows you what shortcut keys to use with popup graphics.
