This is a study guide to help prepare you for the ACE Photoshop Exam. I particularly liked the section that tells you what to expect when you arrive to take the exam, the atmosphere, the tricks and trick questions you may encounter, and what to look for.

You'll receive solid advice on preparing for your exam and how to actually take the test. Sample quizzes, including trick questions are included at the end of each section. This is great for discovering which areas you need to brush up on. A couple of the tricky questions got me, even though I was aware they were there. What a great way to exercise your mind in preparation for the real thing. Also included is a recommended list of other books to supplement your study and practice preparation.

Each of the chapters begin with a list of the terms and concepts you'll need to understand, then a list of techniques covered in that chapter. Of course each chapter goes into detail on each one of the areas that you will need to master.

The front cover says this is the first and last book you need to read before taking your certification Exam. Now that doesn't mean, "Only book". It's a great place to start, study more; practice and more practice, and then review this again before the Exam. There are study tips and a sheet to go over with highlights before the Exam. This is a good choice for a starting point of preparation to take the exam.
