Wow! Bert Monroy is without a doubt an
excellent artist. But not only an excellent artist, but an excellent
digital artist. But he is even more than that. He is a great teacher.
If someone would have told me that I
could read a book and do the things that this book describes I would
have told them they were nuts.
This is not your normal draw a square
here, draw a circle there book. This books takes you inside a drawing,
covering perspective, lighting, shading, reflections and so much more.
It covers the things that make normal digital art come to life.
This book covers the minute details
that we don't think of normally. This is an excellent book for the
graphic artist and for those who just appreciate great digital images.
The pictures alone amazed me, but what was even more amazing was the fact that
I was able to recreate similar images from Bert Monroys' instructions.
This book is a must have!
