Web Design in a Nutshell is the perfect desktop reference for both experienced web designers and beginning web designers. This book covers all the topics including tables, frames, forms, images, formatting text, links, the HTML tags, server side includes, style sheets and much more.

Each chapter that talks about HTML tags includes information about each tag covered. Along with explaining what the tag is for it also tells which browser and version each tag will work with. The browsers covered include Netscape v2,3,4 - Internet Explorer v2,3,4,5 - Web TV and Opera 3 along with which HTML spec the tag is valid for.

The book covers images, what kind to use, how to optimize them and talks about the different image formats.
