Ok boys and girls, sit down (oh yeah
you are sitting down), relax and get ready to read about a really cool
CD ROM. It's called the Edge and Frame Galaxy. If I could, I would have
included every single frame and edge on the CD in this review. I had a hard time
deciding which ones to use for this review and had to reign myself in so
there weren't so many images on the page you wouldn't be able to
download it.
As a bonus, you not only get edges and
frames with this CD, you also get some goodies in the Goodies folder.
These include Harald Heims' plug-ins and other goodies (just in
case you don't have them already). There is
also a Tools folder that has Plugin Commander in it. Lots of great stuff
on this CD but let's get back to the edges and frames.
I stole a few of the examples on the CD
which are below:
This is just a very minor
representation of what's on the CD. There are over 1400 edges and 150
frames in 120 categories. The images are in four different file formats:
BMP, PICT, JPG and TIF. Their resolution ranges from 72 to 300 dpi.
Harald has absolutely out
done himself. This is a terrific collection that anyone who does graphics
should have. If you have never heard of Harald Heim (I can't imagine
that), but in case you haven't you can visit his site at http://pico.i-us.com
to check out his great plugins and tools.
Of course I was thrilled
with the edges and frames and just had to try them out.
