This
series claims to get you up and running in no time! I found this statement
to be absolutely true. This book is basic enough and clear enough
for first time Dreamweaver users to learn the program foundation
quickly
but, it also provides plenty of explanation of the more advanced features
and new features in Dreamweaver Version 3.
I
have been using Dreamweaver for quite some time now and this book still
helped get me up to speed on some of the features that I had not
learned. I had tried to use the template feature before,
but the instructions were always too vague. In this book, I found what I had
been doing wrong and now utilize templates, a great time saver, in
my designs.
What
I appreciate about this book is that in many of the areas it goes
beyond the manual, offering tips based on experience. The differences
between objects and libraries are made clear and how to use each
is explained in detail.
This
book is a quick start all right. But you will be amazed at the depth
of the information. Some of the topics explored are tables, frames,
forms, site management, objects, libraries, embedded sound, behaviors
and style sheets. All the basics such as text, formatting and images
are covered.
I
have only 3 more things to say about this Dreamweaver 3 Quick Start
GuideExcellent, Excellent, Excellent!
