In this lesson I'd like to introduce you to the Camera Map Modifier. The Camera Map Modifier allows you to assign mapping coordinates on an object based on the current frame and the camera that has been chosen in the modifier. The view below is a scene that is viewed through a camera.
Start by creating a scene with at least two objects. Add a camera.
Apply the Camera Map Modifier to the object.
Click on the Pick Camera and go to the scene and click on the camera.
Open the Material Editor and apply the same pattern as has been assigned to the background. Access the bitmap through the Diffuse button.
Set Specular and Glossiness to 0.
Set Self-Illumination to 100. Assign the material to the object.
Open Environment. Find the checked map and select Copy.
Now render the scene through the Camera view and notice how the object has disappeared right through to the background.
