To add a camera to a comp window, start by opening the composition then select Layer>New and Camera.
You can then make adjustments to the camera or leave the default settings as is and press OK.
Located at the bottom of the comp window is the drop down box that allows you to choose the camera view you want to view.

For example, here is the Front view.
Here's the Top view.
Here's Custom View 3.
To rotate the camera around the object, select the Orbit Camera button. The first option allows you to orbit around the point of interest. The second option is the Track XY Camera button. The third option the Track Z Camera button. The example below was set back to Active Camera and then the Orbit Camera button was used to rotate around the object. The second example below shows the Track XY Camera button being used. The last example below shows the Track Z Camera button being used.
Take note, when you load the camera, all settings applied to the camera previously will stay with the camera. If you have another camera selected, choosing Active Camera keeps you using the particular camera for the moment.
It's a good idea to name your cameras as you can add as many cameras as you need.
