I'll use my giant for this lesson.
Let's select Distort and then CC Blobbylize.
Immediately we see a distinct change to the artwork. Looks like it was somewhat destroyed over time.
Here are the available options for the effect.
If we change the Property value to red, notice what happens.
Certainly we get a different distorted image than the previous one.
How about increased the Softness value and the Cut Away value.
It seems that the legs have turned to gold and we are missing areas of the image.
Hit Reset and try making changes in the Light section as I have done.
Again I hit Rest and then applied Shading changes to the picture to see what would happen. This effect will help you create an almost melting effect as though gold is melting away.
