Below is the Photoshop file I'll use for this lesson.
First I select the clown layer and then enter Stylize and CC Kaleida.
Immediately upon applying the effect we can see what is meant by Kaleida. This effect acts as a Kaleidoscope.
Let's go and change the Center.
After moving the Center to the upper left quadrant, the design changes dramatically.
For Mirroring, we have nine selections to choose from.
Let's hit the Reset option. Now apply the Fish Head Mirror.
Try rotating the image using Rotation.
If you move the Rotation wheel around 360 degrees, you'll see the kind of animation you can achieve with this effect and, of course, using other pictures will give the viewer new images and colors.
If we reduce the size, we can see other new designs.
Here's the background with CC Kaleida applied. This effect has so many opportunities for fantastic animations that I cannot even begin to name the ways it can be used.
