In this lesson we'll learn about the CC Radial Fast Blur Effect. It's really a very simple effect to learn. Here we have a picture set up in After Effects and the CC Radial Fast Blur effect applied in default mode.
Here's a close-up of the menu which includes Center, Amount and Zoom with the list of options.
Let's begin by selecting a Center by dropping and dragging the crosshairs into position. I have located mine over the eye.
Now let's set amount to 25.
Here's the result at that setting.
Again, here's the result for a setting of 60.
Now let's change the Zoom option to Brightest and see what we get.
And here we've set the option to Darkest.
And here we've moved the crosshairs across the scene allowing us to show movement.

Here I've duplicated the layer and deleted the effect from the top layer. Try animating a bouncing ball with this effect or come up with your own ideas.
