I've imported the scene I want to use from Photoshop. In this lesson we'll learn how to make snow falling with the sun rising over the mountains.

Now to the layer apply CC Snow and change the settings to the ones shown below. Hit the Spacebar to watch the snow fall.
To the same layer apply CC Light Rays.
Set Intensity to 1.0 and set a keyframe. I have set the Center at the V in the mountain top area.
Go to frame 5 and set another keyframe for Intensity. Set Intensity to 166.
Back at frame one set Radius to 41.
At frame 5 set another keyframe for Radius and change it's setting to 293.
Without setting a keyframe, set Warp Softness to 46.
Hit the home key and create a RAM preview.

You should now be able to see the sun rise over the mountain top and view the sun hitting the snowflakes creating interesting light effects. (For more realism slow the snowflakes down and space out the keyframes.)
