Here is the image I'll use to demonstrate this lesson. As you can see, the monster has a large hole in it's stomach. A solid layer was applied and then the Elliptical Mask Tool was used to make the hole round. The stomach layer is positioned below the image.
Next we want to apply the Scribble effect to the layer.
Initially we see a transparent circle.
Under Composite let's change to On Original Image so that we can see the blue color.
We'll keep Fill Type set to Inside.
We will also keep Opacity set to 100%.
I adjusted Angle so that the lines set horizontally.
I increased the Stroke Width to 1.4.
I changed the Stroke Options to the settings below.
I then set a keyframe for Start at the beginning and set it to 100% which hid the lines.
For End I set it to 0%.
I also set the Wiggle Type at the beginning to Jumpy.
Finally, I set Wiggles/Second to 16.9 and Random Seed to 5. Press the Spacebar and watch the animation.
