What we want to do in this tutorial is to make the frog and the dingy boat go up and down on the waves. As you can see in the timeline, I have selected both the frog and dingy layers by clicking one and then using the Shift key to select the next one.

Make sure you are at the beginning of the timeline. If not, press the Home key. Move both layers to the left just off the main screen.
Hit the P key to open Position. Click on the clocks to set a keyframe.
Move the selector over to the first keyframe.
Move the boat and frog together.
Moving the objects will automatically perform the action of creating new keyframes for you.
For the third keyframe, try not to move the graphics to far per keyframe action.
For the ten frames, try and position each keyframes in a motion that replicates water.
For the waves, animate one wave moving up and down. Click on Position to copy all the keyframes, then paste into the position you want for the two other waves.
Now hit the Home key and select Save RAM Preview.
You'll be asked to name the file and it will then go into Render mode.
Finally, select the file and watch it run.
