In this tutorial you'll learn how to make smoke with Radial Waves.
Begin by creating a solid Control+Y and use the Pen tool to create a design.
The Producer Point will be centered within the design.
Parameters are set at Birth and Render Quality at 4.
Wave Type is Polygon and Sides are 5 and everything else default.
Wave Motion's Frequency is 4.90, Expansion is 1.90, Orientation is 142.2 degrees, Velocity is 120, Spin is -80, and Lifespan is 10.
Open Orientation in the timeline and delete the keyframe. Alt+click Orientation and then add randome (360)

For Stroke Profile is Sawtooth In, Color is almost white, Opacity is .19, Fade-out Time is 5, Start Width and End Width is 50.
When you have completed the above, it's time to apply Fast Blur. Blurriness is 20 and check Repeat Edge Pixels.
When all is complete, do a RAM preview. The smoking rotates upwards.
