In this tutorial I'll introduce you to using Fractal Noise, CC Scatterize, and CC Toner to create an interesting animated effect. Tutorial Includes project files.
Below is a still of what we want to achieve.
We start out with a solid and use the Elliptical Mask Tool to create the circle.
Apply Fractal Noise and follow the settings below.
Next apply CC Scatterize to change the shape of the circle using the same settings below.
Then apply CC Toner to give the design color.
I made changes to Fractal noise under Scale and Evolution.
Under CC Scatterize I set in keyframes for Right Twist and Left Twist. Basically that is all there is to it.
