In this tutorial I'll show you a way to create a great still background that you can export and use in other programs.
Start by creating a new composition. Use the Rectangle tool located at the top and create a rectangle. You can choose the colors you want to use.
Create a second rectangle.
And then a third one.
Select all of the layers.
Apply CC Pixel Polly.
We'll leave the first layer as it is. Select the second layer and make the changes to that you see below.
Select the third layer and make the the changes as you see them here.
Hit the spacebar to see what happens.
Select the third layer and apply CC Radial Blur.
Select the second layer and apply CC Radial Fast Blur.
Drag the timeline slider and view the different versions of the animation that you can render out to a file and use in other programs. To view even more varieties, try changing the modes for the different layers.
