In this tutorial we will show you how to edit a bitmap Image in Corel Draw. Tutorial Includes project files.
First lets import a File.
Choose File/Import from the Main menu.
Locate and choose your file with the Windows file locator.
Remember that Bitmap file types includes: TIF, GIF, PNG, JPG, BMP.
Click Import

After doing so, place your image, wherever you want, on your page.

Now, lets resample the Bitmap Image:
If you find that your image is larger or smaller than you require after importing, CorelDraw allows you to resample your image on the fly.
Select your image with the Pick Tool.
Choose Bitmap/Resample from the Main menu.

Now, choose your new size and/or resolution and click OK.
I chose to change the width of the image:

Note:
What happens if you want to change your image color? Well, you cannot change color or otherwise edit a bitmap image in CorelDraw.
However, you can edit the bitmap in Corel PhotoPaint.
So, lets choose Bitmap/Edit Bitmap and PhotoPaint will open with your image.

After you make the changes close the document in PhotoPaint.
You will be asked if you want to save the changes to the image in CorelDraw.
Click Yes and the changes will appear in your image.

And you are done!!!!
