In this tutorial we will show you how to apply the Lens Effect in Corel Draw X3.
Lenses change how the object area beneath the lens appears.
Lens can be applied to vector images, but here I will show you a trick so you can apply it to your favorite picture.
Import the image you would like to apply the Lens to (I selected a picture of myself):

Select the Rectangle Tool from the Toolbar:

Now, lets make a white rectangle and lets release it over the image we just imported:

After doing so, with the white rectangle selected, go to: Effects / Lens from the Main Menu.

From the Lens Window select:
Transparency
Rate: 30
Color: Red
With this Lens effect option you can give color to your image.

See the result:

Remember to group both the rectangle and the picture by pressing Ctrl + G

Its Fun!!
