In this tutorial we will show you how to create a Cracked Text effect in Corel Draw.
Open a new file and select the Text Tool so you can write some text:
I typed the word "Smile":
Zoom in to work on the image.
Now, lets select the Eraser Tool at the tools bar.
Now click and drag the tool over the text in short moves so that it breaks up the letters:
Keep on doing so until you've created cracks in all of the letters
After doing so, choose: "Effects/Extrude".
Set the Depth to 6 and click Apply:
Then, choose the Extrude Lighting icon and click on one light.
For example Light number 1:
This is the result:
