In this tutorial we will teach you how to create an old time effect, like the ones you see in old movies, in Flash.
Open a new Flash Movie
Set Frame rate to 40fps (Frames per Second)
Now, select the Pencil Tool and under Pencil Tool Options, set Ink.
After that open The Properties Panel, under Stroke Height set 1px and under Stroke Style choose Solid
Open the Color Mixer Panel, for Stroke Color choose white and set alpha to 18%
Then, start drawing a lot lines of different size, like it is shown on the picture below:
Then click on some lines and set their stroke color to white:
Now click on frame 2, and create new lines, different sizes and locations.
Repeat these steps about 30 times.
After that, import any photo you like (as background):
