In this tutorial we will show you how to make a cartoon and show you how to move its eyes in Adobe Flash CS3.
Open a new document
From the tools menu, choose the Oval Tool.

Drag and draw a circle or an oval image on your page:

Add a new layer and add a little shine on the oval we just drew.

To do so, we need to select the Brush Tool and the color we desire, in this case, I chose white.

Now we will add a new layer for the cartoon eyes:

Let's choose the Oval tool again, now lets draw the eyes:

Now we will need to add the pupils, so we will need to add a new layer.
After doing so, choose the paint brush and paint the pupils.

Now select both of the pupils then right click and chose: convert to symbol

Convert it as a Movie Clip

Now we will need some extra frames, so we can make these pupils move.
So select the pupils layer and release the mouse over the timeline and choose: Insert frame

Then we will need to add keyframes to the pupils. Select the frame you desire for example frame number 10 and right click over it and select Insert Keyframe.

Now we will need to move the pupils:

You can insert all the keyframes you desire, but remember each time you do so, you will need to move the pupils of the cartoon.
To see how it looks open the file below.
You can do it!!
