In this tutorial we will show you how to use the motion tween effect (motion tween means tweening a Symbol's movement from one position to another) in Adobe Flash CS3.
Lets open a new document
From the tools menu, choose the Oval Tool.

Lets create a ball.
You can fill it with the color you desire.
After doing so, right click over the ball and select: Convert to Symbol

The Convert to Symbol window will pop up.
From the three actions choose: Graphic, and click OK.

Now we will need more frames in our Timeline.
Go to frame 50 and right click over it and select: Insert Frame:

This is the result, now we have 50 frames for our ball to move.

After that, we will need to Insert a keyframe in frame 50.
Go to frame 50 and right click over it, then select Insert Keyframe.

Now go to frame one and move the ball to the left:

Then go to frame 50 and drag the ball to the right:

Now, in between two frames, for example, at frame 10, right click over it and press: Create Motion Tween.

This is how the Timeline will show up.

Then press Control + Enter and you will see your ball moving =)
To see how it looks open the file below.
Its easy!!
