In this tutorial we will show you how to move a photo in Flash CS3.
This is a great effect for banners.
Start a new document.
Go to File/Import/Import to Stage and Import the image you are about to use for the moving effect.

This is the photo I selected:

This is important, you must remember that this will only work if your photo is bigger than the background, as you can see on this image:

My photo is: 8x3 inches when my background is 400x100 pixels:

Ok, we need to put the photograph over the stage and convert it to a movie clip.
Press F8 and the convert to symbol window will pop up.
Select Movie Clip and give it a name, for example: photo

After doing so we need to move the image, so we will click over the number 10 frame and we will right click on it and select:Insert Keyframe:

Then, being at frame 10, we will move the photo for instance to the right:

After that, we will go to frame number 1
There we will need to right click over it and select:Create Motion Tween

So now we will have our image moving.
In case we want to add more movements, we just need to repeat the last 3 steps.
As soon as you finish you can add a Stop function at our action script.
If you want to do so, go to: Actions and write the code as it follows:

This is the result. =)
In case you need to create a banner you can also add text.
You are done!!
Enjoy!!
