Make Your Own Stationary - Adobe Illustrator Tutorial
| Jacquelin Vanderwood | 1 | | Well how hard is it to make your own stationary in Illustrator? Not too hard if you have Paint Shop Pro to help you. You want to start with a traditional letter size file of 8 1/2 by 11. Use the Rectangle tool and add a background color, no stroke on this layer. | | 4 | | Add some fairly light foreground color to the slices as it will need to be light enough to show writing. | | 5 | | Open Paint Shop Pro. Create a new file. Select the Picture Tube tool. Find the butterflies. Click once to create a butterfly. Copy the butterfly. Paste it into the Illustrator program. Set the Transparency of the layer to Multiply. | | 7 | | Create some grass in Paint Shop Pro and paste into Illustrator. Again set the layer to Multiply. | | 8 | | Add a flower from the Symbol file in Illustrator. | | 9 | | Type something like "From the Pen of..." in a fairly traditional font. | | 10 | | Add your name in a fun font. | | 11 | | You now have your own unique stationary. Quick and simple. Save it. |
