| Jacquelin Vanderwood August 1, 2003 | 1 | | Start with a single rectangle. Select the Knife tool and with the piece selected, cut a rolling slice into into. Change the color of the one piece so that you now have two different colored pieces. Lock the layer and start a new one. |  | 2 | | With the Pen tool selected, create a walkway as shown below. |  | 3 | | Create a sun for the sky. |  | 4 | | With the Pen tool create the outline for a tunnel. |  | 5 | | Create the inner wall of the tunnel and send it to the back (Ctrl+Shft+[). |  | 6 | | Create the outside part of it and send it to the back as well. |  | 7 | | New layer. Create the trunk of the tree. To create the leaves, make a bunch of circles. Use the Pen tool to fill in the area. |  | 8 | | With all greenery selected, click on Add to shape area and then Expand. |  | 9 | | Create a rectangle over the overlapping greenery. Select both the rectange and the greenery. Select Subtract from shape area and then Expand. If the leaves overhang on the side, follow the same procedure. |  | 10 | | New layer. Create a simple female as shown below. |  | 11 | | Create a resemblance of a baby buggy. |  | 12 | | Create a new layer. Make sure all other layers are locked. With the Ellipse tool, and holding the Shift key down, create a number of circles to give the sky an interesting look. |  | 13 | | Do the same for the sun. |  | 14 | | Fill in the tree and it's trunk.
