Colors and Color Systems - Adobe Illustrator Tutorial
| Jacquelin Vanderwood August 15, 2003 | 1 | | What are color systems? If you click on Windows and select Swatch Libraries, you'll see all the various color systems installed in Illustrator by default. | | 2 | | To load the color system, simply click on it. | | 3 | | It will automatically load in it's own library. | | 4 | | How do we make this library appear each time? You'll want to select Persistent. | | 5 | | How do I find a specific color in this library? You would easily type in the color code name and the color will automatically appear. | | 6 | | What if I create a unique color? How do I keep it? | | 7 | | You'll want to first make sure Persistent is selected but then you'll want to select Add to Swatches. | | 8 | | How do I convert the color to a spot color? Click on the little icon below in the color palette. | | 9 | | And how do I convert my color to CMYK? Click on the icon below also in the color palette. | | Copyright 2003, Jacquelin Vanderwood, All Rights Reserved | |
