Making Textual Manipulations - Adobe Illustrator Tutorial
| Jacquelin Vanderwood November 15, 2003 | 1 | | Below is a sign I'll use for this tutorial. I'll show you how to adjust the text for a more appealing look. | | 2 | | Begin by selecting the word GLOBE. Apply a Warp Option to it. Set it to Bulge with Horizontal checked and a Bend set to -8. | | 3 | | You can see that I have used Bulge to deflate the center of the word. From this point apply Transform to make it permanent if you want to. | | 4 | | This time select the top title which is THE 2003 ANNUAL. Let's apply an Arc Lower Warp Option set at 9%. | | 5 | | This warp made the bottom of the text swing down. | | 6 | | Select the lower most text and apply an Arc Upper set again at 9% Horizontal. | | 7 | | Here is the final piece. | Copyright 2003, Jacquelin Vanderwood, All Rights Reserved | |
