In this tutorial I'll introduce you to the method of creating a Mobile and Devices Document.
When you first open Illustrator or when there is no document opened, you are given several options of what kind of document to create. The third item is the Mobile and Devices Document selection.
You're immediately taken to this screen where you can choose from Sample Device Sets and Available Devices.
Click on the first selection at the left-hand side. You'll notice that it gives you the color mode, the raster resolution, target devices, size, and content type.
Content Type is a dropdown box that you can select the options you need.
Clicking on the Device Profiles you'll be able to view general information about the device. General, Flash, Bitmap, Video, and Web selections will give you all of the information you need about each selection. When you are happy with the setup, you can be begin by selecting Create under New Document.
