In this tutorial we will show you how to apply a cool shadow to a text, in Adobe Illustrator CS3.
Start a new document.
Then, select the Text Tool and type whatever you want, for example: "Design".
Remember that you can give your text any color you desire:
Then, go to: Filter/Stylize/Drop Shadow from the Main Menu:
The Drop shadow window will pop up.
Select the following settings:
Mode:Multiply
X Offset: 10
Y Offset: 12
Blur: 5
Press OK.
This is how it will look like:
Remember not to repeat these steps twice or you will have this result:
