In this tutorial we will show you how to create and use patterns to quickly fill shapes with them, in Adobe Illustrator CS3.
Start a new document.
Then, select the Paintbrush Tool and draw a t-shirt or any other object you need to fill with a pattern.
After doing this, create 2 rectangles, I paint one with white and the other with pink color.
Then, select both rectangles and release them into the Swatches window.
So now you will have a new pattern:
Then, select first the object you need to fill and then the Live Paint Bucket from the tools menu.
Click inside the object you need to fill:
You can also make other pattern designs:
