In this tutorial we will show you how to round edges to an object, in Adobe Illustrator CS3.
Start a new document.
Then, select the Rectangle Tool and draw one.
Now, we will need to round the rectangle's edges, so go to:
Object/Path/Offset Path from the Main Menu.
The Offset Path window will pop up.
Select:
Offset: 3
Joins: Round
This is the result.
In case you want to add more round edges change Offset 3 for 5 or more.
You can do it with any shape, for example a star, look at the before and after:
