In this tutorial I'll show you how to create a basic model from a ZSphere.
When hovering over the ZSphere menu item, it will enlarge to show more detail. Click on the button.

Click and draw in the main screen holding down the Shift key all the while to constrain the sphere to 45 degree angles.

Immediatley hit the T key to go into Edit mode or click on the Edit button.

Next hit the X key so that we can duplicate the actions.

Click at the bottom of the sphere and drag.

Hit the W key for Move and drag downward.

Hit the Q key to draw. Draw sphere at the top.

Hit the W key for Move and drag upward.

Hit the Q key to draw two spheres at the top.

Hit the W key to pull outwards.

Hit the Q key again and draw another sphere. Use the W key to move it upwards.

Draw another sphere on top of that one. Use the E key to scale it.

Hit the Q key for Draw and add spheres within the model as shown.

Use the W key to move the sphere into the appropriate positions. Clicking outside of the model will allow you to rotate the model.

Hit the A key along the way to see the geometry and to make the appropriate adjustments.

You can then adjust it more by using the Q key for Draw to add more spheres and using the W key for Move and the E key for Scale until you the model as you need it to be.

When you're happy with the result, go to Tool and click on Make PolyMesh3D.

It now becomes a Tool.

Open the Geometry menu. Click on Divide 5 times.

Your model has been smoothed. You can reduce the smoothing under Geometry by moving the SDiv slider back and forth between 1 and 6. It's now ready to be modeled.
