In this tutorial we will show you how to create text in Swift 3D.
Start a new document.
Click over the "Create Text" icon.

As soon as you do so, a window panel will appear at the left side of your program.
Go where it says: "Text" and type any word, for instance: "Smile".

You just created your own text, good!!

Now you can add some effect to it, for example a new Pattern.
I chose the ER Raster:

Drag it to your text.
Then go to the : "Render Window" icon and click it once.

This is the result:
