Begin with either a blue paper, or paint one with acrylic.
Sketch in some clouds with white.
Smudge and soften the clouds, reapply white and blend again.
Next apply this dark gray green to create the back hills.
Now begin to block in sections of color.
Blend.
Lay in some detail.
Gently blend again.
Lay in the darkest color for the trees.
Lay in a light color for the highlight on the trees.
Using a darker green, sketch in the darker leaves.
Add highlight colors going from darker to lighter.
Finally, add more highlight color again. Now smudge in a figure 8 motion.
