So here I've sketched a window on a primed canvas that has been painted in acrylic with pink.

Start by blocking in the main colors of the windows which will be the reflections. Try not to put every detail in.
Blend. Now add light gray blue around the edges and blend as well.
Now for the window frame. Using two reds, fill in the shadow and light areas.
Using the blue we used before, add highlight.
Using various shades of blues and green, fill in the area around the window as the window is set deep into the building.
Fill in the area around the window and add detail. Slightly blend.
Finally, add black for the decoration around the window. Take light blue and add highlight to draw out the window panes. With a light hand, add dark blue or black to the interior of the window panes to add more depth.
