Rag Doll Series: The Piglet - Corel Paint Shop Pro Tutorial

Open a new image 250 x 375 Transparent. Selection tutorials are rather repetitious so I will list the steps we will be taking.
1. New layer and load selection.
2. Flood fill with black.
3. Contract by 2.
4. Fill with color.
5. Invert and do a drop shadow.
6. Deselect and add noise to smooth out the shadow.
7. SAVE! | | 2 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_ears selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #00A7C0.
Deselect.
Save. | | 3 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_arm1 selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #9AF0EF.
Invert, drop shadow using #00A7C0.
Vertical: -10
Horizontal: 10
Opacity: 50%
Blur: 30.6
Deselect and add Noise: 3% | | 4 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_back_hand selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #00A7CO.
Deselect.
Save. | | 5 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_back_leg selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #9AF0EF.
Invert, drop shadow using #00A7C0.
Deselect and add Noise: 3% | | 6 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_body selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #9AF0EF.
Invert, drop shadow using #00A7C0.
Deselect and add Noise: 3%
Save. | | 7 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_bib selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #00A7CO.
Deselect. | | 8 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_arm2 selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #9AF0EF.
Invert, drop shadow using #00A7C0.
Deselect and add Noise: 3%
Save. | | 9 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_front_hand selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #00A7CO.
Deselect. | | 10 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_head selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #9AF0EF.
Invert, drop shadow using #00A7C0.
Deselect and add Noise: 3%
Save. | | 11 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_nose selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #00A7CO.
Deselect. New layer.
Load the piglet_front_leg selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #9AF0EF.
Invert, drop shadow using #00A7C0.
Deselect and add Noise: 3% selection. Fill with black. | | 12 | | New layer.
Load the piglet_feet selection. Fill with black.
Contract by 2, fill with #00A7CO.
Deselect. New layer.
Load the piglet_details selection. Fill with black.
Deselect. New layer.
Select your Paint Brush:
Round
Size: 50
Hardness-Opacity-Density: 100
Step: 25
Color: #FF8080
Place a blush circle on each cheek.
Effects: Gaussian Blur:7%
Turn down layer opacity to 73% and move this layer under the Nose layer. New layer.
Paint Brush: Size: 2
Color: #FFFFFF
Place a highlight on each eye.
From here on you can merge all layers and save in PSP format or export as a tube. I usually save in PSP format with all layers intact, duplicate and merge all layers visible, then export as a tube. You can use your Rag Doll Piglet to decorate your cards and they make great Signature Tags when resized smaller.
