| 1 | | This is a Selection tutorial so download your zip file here. Open Paint Shop Pro. There are only three colors used for the Pyramid Globe Palette. The maroon of the base is #800000, White and Black. We will also be using Blade Pro for the glass frame and trims. Included in the zip file are the base legs and topper in PSP format. 1. Open a new image 480 x 500 Transparent. Selection tutorials are rather repetitious so I will list the steps we will be taking. 1. New layer and load selection. 2. Flood fill with color. 3. Deselect. 4. SAVE! |

Apply an Inner Bevel with these settings: Width: 6 Smoothness: 3 Depth: 3 Ambience and Shininess: 0 Color: White Angle: 221 Intensity: 45 Elevation: 35 While still selected, invert and apply a Drop Shadow with these settings: Color: #C88080 Vertical: -2 Horizontal: -1 Opacity: 60% Blur: 0 Deselect and save. New layer. Load the black_lining selection. Fill with black. Deselect. |

Deselect. New layer. Load the decorative_plates selection. Fill with white. Apply Blade Pro's Gold_Shiny preset or one of your choice. Deselect and save. |

| 6 | | New layer. Load the glass_back_left selection. Fill with black. Lower layer opacity to 40%. Deselect. New layer. Load the glass_back_right selection. Fill with black. Lower opacity to 40%. Deselect and save. New layer. Load the glass_front_left selection. Fill with black. Lower opacity to 40%. Deselect. New layer. Load the glass_front_right selection. Fill with black. | 7 | | New layer. Load the back_bar selection. Fill with white. Apply Blade Pro. Go to Colors>Adjust>Gamma Correction: 0.48 and apply. Deselect and save. New layer. Load the outer_trim selection. Fill with white. Apply Blade Pro but first change Shape to 4th from top and apply. Deselect. New layer. Load the front_bars selection. Fill with white. Apply Blade Pro. Deselect and save. |
| 8 | | New layer. Load the corners_top_triangle selection. Fill with white. Apply Blade Pro. Deselect. Open the base_feet_top PSP file, copy and paste as a new layer. Save. New layer. Load the decorative_trim selection, fill with white. Apply Blade Pro. |
| 9 | | From here on you can save in PSP format. I usually save in PSP format with all layers intact. You can use your Pyramid Globe to display anything you'd like, be sure to put your image below the "glass" layers so that it will appear as if inside the globe itself. Add some highlights on the glass, too. |
