Minute aniTags - Corel Paint Shop Pro 5 Tutorial

Dale Walkey   This method of making really quick animated tags created in PSP7 Animation Shop does not use any images. Once you make a couple of these, they can be created in less than 5 minutes.   1. Open a new animation file   2. Enter 150 in each box and choose Transparent   3. This is your blank animation canvas Click on the Text Tool   4. This opens your text editor. Change your settings to match these Note:Your Foreground palette will color your ding   5. Now to add the animated text - click on Effects and choose Insert Text Effect   6. This opens the Text Effects editor - change your settings to match the yellow frames and then click Customize (green frame)   7. The Marquee editor will open Make sure Center Text is NOT checked and enter 100 in box. This will move the scroll near the bottom Click Okay to close Marquee editor Click Okay to close Text Effect editor   8. Here's your FINISHED aniTag Click on Animation icon to view your aniTag   9. Click on the X to close the animation   10. To save your aniTag, click on File and choose Save As...   11. Choose where you want to save your aniTag and name it - click Save Easy-How-To Insert aniTags into Outlook Express email   12a. First - make sure that you will have "access" to the Image Insert icon in Outlook Express: 1. Open a new email in Outlook Express 2. Click Format and click Rich Text HTML to put "dot" beside it Note: this setting will remain until you change it   12b. Important note:Leave your cursor flashing in your message area - this is where your aniTag will insert Click on the "see more" icon and choose the Insert Image icon   12c. Opens your Picture browser to locate your aniTag Click on Browse   12d. Click on file name to highlight and click Open (mine are in a folder called aniTags)   12e. Your Picture browser will open to confirm file - click Okay   12f. this is a small screen shot of what it will look like in your email     Please improvise with this basic tutorial. Any ding/shape fonts will work and there are many text effects to choose. Experiment - reverse the process; type the text and choose a ding font for your marquee...
