The Perspective Grid - Corel Painter Tutorial
| Jacquelin Vanderwood February 15, 2004 | 1 | | To open the Perspective Grid, go to Canvas and select Perspective Grids. Click on Show Grid. |  | 2 | | The default Perspective Grid will appear onscreen as shown below. |  | 3 | | To create a custom grid, select the Perspective Grid Adjuster tool from the toolbar. |  | 4 | | Now click on the Add Preset option. |  | 5 | | Name the grid preset and press OK to save it. |  | 6 | | Select the grid of choice for this project. |  | 7 | | Check or uncheck Horizontal depending on the need. |  | 8 | | Choose colors for the grid by clicking on the drop down arrows. |  | 9 | | Adjust the spacing of the grid. | | 10 | | To reset the grid to default, click on the Reset tool button on the Property bar. |  | 11 | | To delete a grid, click on the Delete Preset button. |  | 12 | | To adjust the grid, use the Perspective Grid tool, hover over different parts of the grid until you see a double-sided arrow, then drag. |    | 13 | | By dragging on the horizon line you can make more adjustments to the grid. |  | 14 | | Zoom far out to make even more adjustments to the perspective of the grid. | Copyright 2004, Jacquelin Vanderwood, All Rights Reserved | |
