In this tutorial I'll use several techniques to create an impressionistic painting of an old English countryside scene. Tutorial Includes project files.
This is the photo I'll be using and it is in care of Photos.com.

I'll start out with the Splattery Clone Spray brush.

I'll use a size of 50 approximately.

I'll be using Quick Clone for this lesson.

I paint the area that I want with the Splattery Clone Spray brush first.

Next I changed brush to Flat Grainy Stump 20 under Blenders

I reduced the Opacity to 10%.

With short strokes I started blending in areas all around the painting leaving some of the previous brush strokes intact so as to give more interest to the overall painting.

For painting in the sky and water areas, I changed Pull to 20% and Jitter to 1.07.

In the final process I changed Jitter to 49% and painted in long strokes for the road and grass. There had been two people on the road which I dragged and pull paint from surrounding areas to get rid of. With short strokes, I painted the rest of the scene which was the plant life. I decided to call this painting finished.
