In this tutorial I'll show you an interesting way to create flowers.
Start with a Watery Glazing Round 30 brush.

Paint with a lighter color then pick a darker hue and paint a couple of areas darker.

Select another color and paint around.

Select the Pen tool and draw a shape using the colors as a loose template.

Choose Shapes and then Convert to Selection. Make sure to click on the watercolor layer.

At this point we want to Invert which is Control+Shift+I then cut which is Control+X. On a new layer select Sponge Wet and select a darker brown.

Click twice to create the center of the flower.

Now select the Watery Pointed Flat 30 and a good stem and leaf color.

On a new layer paint once crisscrossing so that there is a large area of paint.

Create a shape within the color and use the same process we used before to cut the shape out.

It should now look like the stem and leaf below. If you want to add a leaf, use the same color on a new layer and follow the same cut out procedure.

Now select a new brush, Runny Wet Bristle.

Using the same color as the stem zigzag paint 3 times going downwards then let it create the ground cover naturally.

Finally, on the stem layer, select the Just Add Water brush from the Blenders brushes and blend in the bottom of the stem into the grass. Add the word "spring" and you have a nice personalized greeting card for springtime.
