In this tutorial we will show you how to use the Path Tool in Corel PhotoPaint.
Open a new file and select the Path Tool, from the Tools Menu

After doing so, start drawing whatever you like, I will make a flower.
Note that every little rectangle that appears when you are drawing are what we call: NODES
The nodes can be selected and modify:

If you want to modify a node, select the "Shape" tool from the Path Tool Panel:

Now lets select all the nodes, this is what it will look like:

As I'm making a flower, I need the lines to be curved. So this is what we have to do.
Select the "Make Curve Nodes" at the Path Tool Panel (always having the drawing selected)

Now all the paths of our drawing are curved. So we can start deleting and editing the drawing as we like:



As I'm drawing a flower, I will use the Ellipse Tool to decorate it:

This is the result:

Rectangle Tool
If we need to make a rectangle, we dont have to draw it, we just need to select "Rectangle" at the Tools Menu:

Now draw all the rectangles you want. (You can also paint them, with the Paint Fill Tool)

Elipse Tool
If we need to make an elipse, we dont have to draw it either, we just need to select "Ellipse" at the Tools Menu:

After that you can draw all the elipses you want:
