In this tutorial we will show you how to apply a special effect to text in Photo-Paint X3.
Start a new image.
Change your Paint color to 60% black by left-clicking the 60% black swatch on the Palette:

Select the Text Tool and create some text.

For example lets type the word: "TUTORIAL"

Now we will add some noise to our text.
Choose: Effects/Noise/Add Noise.

Select the following settings:
Noise Type: Uniform
Level: 100
Density: 50
Color Mode: Intensity

Then, click the Lock Transparency icon on the Object Docker or the Mask/Object Toolbar.

After doing so, choose: Effects/Blur/Motion Blur.

Click the Reset button and then change the Distance to 75 pixels.
Then click OK.

Now, unlock the Transparency.

Now, lets click on the background of our image.
Then select the Fill bucket tool and click on the background to fill it with black color.

This is how its looking like:

After that, select the text.
Then go to: Effects/3D Effects/Emboss.

Choose:
Depth: 5
Level: 450

Voila!!!!!!Look how cool our text looks now!!!!
