Blending Options/Shadows - Adobe Photoshop Tutorial
The February series of Photoshop tutorials is going to deal with layer blending options. The first one is Shadows.

Hot Text - Adobe Photoshop Tutorial
Click on the first bottom color arrow under the gradient box and set the color to white. Click under the gradient box and a new color arrow will appear.

I created an image 580 wide by 300 high so I would have enough room to move things around if need be. You can create an image whatever size you need for your text.

Create a new image 100x200 pixels with a black background. Using the paint brush with a think tip draw a curved line similar to below on your canvas.

Create a canvas 400 X 100 pixels or whatever size you need for your text. Use a medium to light shade background.

Go to Filter>Sharpen>Sharpen Edges. Do that 4 times.
