How To Make a Duotone Image - Adobe Photoshop Tutorial

First, you'll want to take your original image, and de-saturate it, if it is not already and black and white photo. Next, take your image, and click "grayscale" to discard the color information.

Then, you will go to mode, and select duotone.

From there, you will pick two colors that you want your image to be to make a nice hue. (Normally one light color and one darker color work best in the same color family.) Then you will have your duotone image.

You may also make a tri-tone image, and use 3 colors.
